Our Members
UT OLLI SAGE (Seminars for Adult Growth and Enrichment) members represent a broad spectrum of adult professionals, homemakers, and community volunteers who want to pursue lifelong learning opportunities in a university environment. Some have advanced degrees; some have never been inside a college classroom. Their life experiences immeasurably enrich the program curriculum and invite lively social interaction and intellectual exchanges. At UT OLLI SAGE we like to call it, “having serious fun.”
Ours is a member-planned and member-facilitated program. Members volunteer to serve on various committees charged with planning our regularly scheduled enrichment programs, seminars, socials, and field trips. Committee members work closely with the UT OLLI program staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Curriculum
UT OLLI SAGE offers three six-week sessions each year that meet on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Instructors include UT Austin academics, scholars, and local experts offering in-depth knowledge and expertise in a broad range of subjects.
